I would have loved to drive this Cadillac over to my Dad’s house and take him for a drive. He would have loved the ride, especially the cornering. But somehow, I knew that he was already in the car with me, smiling at how much car technology had changed.

In terms of pure looks, the CTS coupe should rocket to the head of the luxury pack. The stunning coupe finally gives the CTS the halo it needs to draw attention to what has long been a very worthwhile car and is now a very competitive lineup.

Overall, the 2011 CTS is an impressive new coupe that’s one of the most dramatically styled cars on the road. Just be prepared to be gawked at, a lot.

Ride, handling, acceleration and even interior aren’t the point of the Cadillac CTS Coupe. Style is, and in that regard Cadillac has grand-slammed it. All of the competing Germans and Japanese two-doors simply can’t hold a candle to the Coupe’s glorious lines.

The Cadillac CTS Coupe has the most polarizing car shape I’ve ever seen. From that sassy ass all the way forward, you either love it or you hate it. American luxury finally has a standard-bearer, and this is it.
