The 2011 Fiesta has great looks, high-quality interior, and brilliant handling. Oh, and it has Bluetooth. And here you thought the big news was that Ford didn’t take the bailout money. Sheesh.

A quick stint behind the wheel will assure you that this is, in fact, a lithe, nimble and truly involving vehicle. What’s more, it is primarily being marketed as a hatchback, proving that truly, the game has changed.

If the Fiesta’s excellent fuel economy, technical competency and many features aren’t enough for you, we think the price tag will seal the deal.

The 2011 Fiesta is comfortable inside with no shortage of safety equipment. The nimble, responsive chassis gives the driver confidence on crowded freeways and twisty backroads. The smoothness of the driveline makes the Fiesta feel more refined than its low price suggests, too.

The days of penalty-box small Fords are long gone. In fact, this Fiesta is so expensive-feeling that one wonders exactly where the differentiation between it and the new Focus is going to come from.

The 2011 Ford Fiesta is more than a top-notch subcompact. It’s a good car through and through. It just happens to simply be the best one available with a starting price tag under $14,000.

The frisky, affordable Ford Fiesta seems to have hit the sweet spot of fuel economy and up-to-the-minute technology, wrapping it all in a wash of electrifying colors that may zap the math that small + car = boring.

Think of the 2011 Ford Fiesta as a compact that’s as fun as the Mazda MX-5 but with room for two car seats and a stroller.

Until fairly recently, American economy cars had been about as enticing as a tofu burger. But the 2012 Ford Fiesta is as mouthwatering as an In-n-Out Double-Double.

The Ford Fiesta will hit American dealers in a few short months. If you are possessed of a driver’s license and a functional brain, you will get yourself to your local Ford shop and arrange a test drive as soon as cars become available. You will not regret it.

The Ford Fiesta sets a new bar for this highly competitive segment. It proved to be an excitable car that is as sporty as it is economical. Getting an impressive MPG is one thing, but getting it while spinning the tires is another.

With great tracking over quickly changing switchbacks and off-camber turns, it is clear that Ford is really on to something here. The Fiesta appears to be a genuinely fun, practical and premium-feeling car that can be had without breaking the bank.
