The 2013 Ford Mustang GT is simply an excellent car regardless of genre, an appealing balance of price, refinement, handling and brutish verve.

The latest 2013 Ford Mustang can carve up a track just as well as its competitors and can even put some much more expensive models to shame.

Our brief time behind the wheel of the new 2013 Mustang GT showed that this pony car has lost none of its step as it approaches the age of many of its drivers. Constant improvements help the Mustang brand to keep pace and in some cases even surpass the competition.

The 2013 Ford Mustang features a facelift and comes out bigger, bolder, cleaner. We’re less enthusiastic about the interior. But with 11 models ranging from 305 hp and about $23k to 650 hp and $60k, if you like Mustangs at all, there’s one for you.

I’m not sold on all the visual updates, and the interior needs work; so does the coupe’s crashworthiness. But the Mustang still combines scrappy fun with everyday livability.

The 2012 Mustang line delivers more features and more refinement than any so-called pony car line-up before, not to mention a whole lot of performance per dollar.

No matter how much I drove the 2012 Mustang Boss 302, I was never satisfied. I only wanted more.

The Ford Mustang Boss 302’s tactile details—the engine’s thunderous power and sound, the cue-ball shifter, the suede steering wheel, the precise chassis and optional sport seats—combine for a supremely charismatic and entertaining American sports car.

Fortunately, you don’t have to be a big boss to afford the Ford Mustang Boss 302. While it’s not cheap, you get a lot of car for the money, and a real performance bargain. We’re pretty happy with the 2012 BOSS, and think anybody looking to work with some serious muscle will be, too.

Open-minded enthusiasts who give the Ford Mustang Boss 302 a chance will like what they find – it’s more than good enough to stand fender-to-fender with the globe’s finest big-engined coupes.

Track-ready yet fun for the street, the 2012 Ford Mustang Boss 302 is a pure performance machine that may be the best version of the classic car I’ve driven. It’s rare to find a vehicle that feels so natural to drive.

This is a knockout that venerates the original Boss while embarrassing it objectively and subjectively in every meaningful measure. What this is, is the best Mustang ever.
