The Accent is a winning formula of attractive design meeting extreme value. The fact that it drives well and gets class-leading mileage only cements it at the top of the subcompact class.

The 2012 Hyundai Accent moves to the front of the wee pack with a stylish exterior, gutsy performance and enough space to carry a Toyota Yaris. This car feels downright luxurious at points.

The Hyundai Accent doesn’t need to be the very cheapest car in the segment. The 2012 version can compete on real-car virtues of power, fuel economy, interior quality, roominess, and general pleasantness.

The 2012 Accent is satisfying. It’s a simple, inexpensive sedan that works well, actually communicates with its driver and doesn’t flaunt its compromises. It’s also decently quick and carries a highway economy rating of 40 mpg.

The 2012 Hyundai Accent delivers more power and better fuel economy than any car in its class. Greater ride and handling refinement can be found in several competitors, but the Accent’s price and features will override those concerns.

Hyundai has redesigned its subcompact with stylish sheetmetal. Until the 2012 model year, the Accent’s most attractive styling came from the window stickers listing the manufacturer’s suggested list price and the EPA fuel mileage. Those labels still look good too.

Clearly, Hyundai knows the language the value-conscious consumer speaks. The 2012 Hyundai Accent is a stylish, well made, fun to drive, and very affordable small car with a lot of class best, including power train warranty.

With a refined interior and great road feel, the 2012 Hyundai Accent raises the bar in a segment that only recently was about as pleasant as the flight home from Las Vegas after a night of partying.

There’s a lot to like about the 2012 Hyundai Accent: Attractive styling inside and out, driver-friendly control layout, and a lot of interior space, although I think the imprecise steering would really annoy me.

The 2012 Accent subcompact is among the nicest automotive surprises in years. For the most part, it’s a classy, quick, comfy little car that responds nimbly to the driver and doesn’t leave you devastated that you didn’t buy a bigger car.

The new Accent should leave its buyers wanting for very little. It’s attractive, well equipped, and among the most affordable new cars on the market today. In other words, it’s yet another desirable small car, and yet another desirable Hyundai.
