The Infiniti M is practical and its handling is great. Features are generous on comfort and luxury items, and the interior is worthy of vehicles much more expensive than the M56.

Infiniti’s M56x illustrates how technology should be put to use in everyday life; abundant and ever-present, but imperceptible and noninvasive. The M56x offers power, luxury, and technology in ways that you didn’t know you needed, but once you experience them, you won’t want to live without them.

The Infiniti M feels so nimble that you forget it’s larger than the current M. Stylish and powerful, the new version has improved in every way.

The M may have had some of its edginess polished away. But these sedans are easily the most comfortable and luxurious cars Infiniti has ever produced. The finely tuned blend of sportiness and luxury in these new M sedans could steal quite a bit of business from Infiniti’s German rivals.

The Infiniti M’s seating, interior layout and level of luxury is on par with the rest of the luxury sedan party.

The 2011 Infiniti M37 and M56 are a huge improvement over the outgoing model in terms of design, engineering, performance and overall luxury appeal.

The new, curvaceous M is definitely sexier than its staid predecessor. Our M37x tester gave us a great ride, and the 330 horses on tap motivated the M sedan beautifully. The only time I could see this motor coming up short, is after a taste test of the M56.

Infiniti’s new ’11 M sedan presents a great mix of ridiculous power, astonishing fuel economy and parental-like controls sure to please, and perhaps perplex, buyers.

Technology in itself is not the secret to a great performance car. It still comes down to power, cornering ability, styling and a comfortable interior. The 2011 Infiniti M offers all of the above plus the latest devices to make driving safer and more fun.

My criticisms stem from how close the new Infiniti M comes to perfection rather than how far it falls from it. Compare it to existing competitors rather than an evasive ideal, and it stacks up very well for anyone who prioritizes the driving experience over silence and spaciousness.

The new Infiniti M is a fairly and competitively priced, voluptuously styled luxury car that most drivers would agree wants for nothing in standard form and offers a huge array of options for customizing.

The Infiniti M56 is one top performer among a rarefied set of highly capable competitors. Maybe the M’s more dramatic styling will finally earn it the public recognition and votes that it deserves.
