It’s a razor-sharp jet-fighter on wheels, but more important, the Lamborghini Aventador is one of very few truly raunchy automobiles, with its aggressive engine note and aerospace styling.

The Aventador is not just a pure acceleration machine. It is a far more disciplined sports car, allowing the driver to push to the limits of his ability (and, frankly, a bit beyond) while still maintaining control when the road gets difficult.

The Aventador is the best Lambo ever built, hands down. Lamborghini calls it two generations ahead of the aged Murcielago, but they’re just being modest.

The Lamborghini Aventador is big, outlandish and powerful. In other words, it’s a typical Italian supercar. But this is a beast with manners.

The Aventador is pretty much what the Murciélago was: enormous, loud, stupidly impractical, and obscenely flamboyant. It’s also better at being so.

he Aventador is pretty much what the old car was: enormous, loud, stupidly impractical, and obscenely flamboyant. It’s also better at being so, but we’re not here to persuade you. Those of you who want it and can afford it already know who you are.

The Lamborghini Aventador LP 700-4 could well be the most impressive car yet to come from Sant’Agata, and it was downright devilish in performance. It features a number of ground-breaking technologies that combine to make it the best overall sports-car from the company…ever.

The Aventador is far and away the best-driving 12-cylinder Lambo to date. Given its scintillating stats, it begins to look less rip-off Vette and more bargain Bugatti, a car that costs roughly $2 million yet is barely quicker.

The 2012 Lamborghini Aventador is one of this world’s most incredible cars. Its handling capabilities are truly extraordinary, and the V12 produces the sort of thrust that once resulted in the words “the Eagle has landed.”

The Lamborghini Aventador is a supercar for sure. But it’s the forward-thinking design that propels me to christen it the best Lambo ever.

The Aventador is ferocious, with incredible lateral grip and wonderful mechanical balance, and its design is outrageous. For a company that prizes extremity above all, I think they got this about right.
