Affordable high-performance sports cars don’t get any better than the 2011 Nissan 370Z.

The Nissan 370Z remains a worthwhile and engaging sports car—especially for those without a world-beating budget. Price isn’t the 2013 370Z’s only strong suit, though it remains a relative performance bargain.

With its gutsy engine, athletic handling, sexy styling and driver-oriented two-seat cockpit, the 370Z has all the sports car bases covered. The fact that you can pick one up for about the price of a top-line family sedan makes owning one just that much easier to rationalize.

Though it faces newfound competition, the 2013 Nissan 370Z still holds plenty of appeal as an affordable sports car.

Nissan’s 370Z Nismo is an attractive and spritely performer, with great handling, and power underhood.

Though I enjoyed driving the Z, I couldn’t help wondering if the market still has a place for it. There’s no denying the car’s performance chops, but with its basic interior and limited standard features, are you getting your money’s worth at more than $30,000?

We continue to admire the Nissan 370Z’s comfort level, style, and, of course, performance. It carries on as one of the best values around, especially in the dollar-per-grin category.

The Nissan 370Z makes a statement like no other car with an under $30k base price. The latest incarnation of the Z has brought this car very close to the level of its big brother GTR.

The 370Z is a potent performer, capable of neck-stretching grip and confident cornering. Steering is accurate, if not laden with feedback. If the 370Z is going to be your daily driver you may start to grow weary of the harsh ride.

If you’ve been seeking the extroverted macho functionality-be-damned flavor of a Camaro, but in a more compact package, then the 370Z definitely delivers.
