Porsches have long had the reputation for everyday driveability, and the 2010 911 Turbo is no exception. It may have 500 hp, but unlike many “super” cars, the Turbo makes it easy to climb behind the wheel and simple to manage in the narrow lanes of small villages. A practical 500-hp sports car? Perhaps.

You could drive a Turbo daily — it’s got the most luxury, space (hey, two back seats for the kids!), and refined powertrain of any supercar. But the rock-hard suspension can’t absorb bumps.

The Porsche 911 Turbo S is a very satisfying car. It’s a very, very rapid car, even in the current era of hyper-fast production cars.

Whoooeeee, autobahn angels, Porsche builds some raging, road-eating monsters these days. The 911 Turbo is even better with the top down, treating you to a chorus of whooshes, burps, ticks and howls. Think of it as primal mechanical therapy.

The latest 911 Turbo is one of the all-time great Porsches, and very possibly the most high-speed capable 911 yet. But, underneath all the revisions and enhancements, it is still a true 911. We should be thankful for that.

The newest Porsche 911 Turbo is a marvel of effectiveness and, more than ever, the best everyday supercar.

With each lapin the 2010 911 Turbo, I became more comfortable, more confident in what many would consider a supercar and the prince of all Porsche models (save the new Turbo S).

Yes, the ride is a bit stiff, but certainly not punishing. And the interior is finely crafted and functional, save for the flimsy cupholders. But what’s best about the new 911 Turbo is this: it offers easy access to stunning performance.

I only have small grievances with Porsche 911 Turbo that is greatly improved and could very well be the most “livable” supercar in the world.

The 911 Porsche Turbo delivers performance that competes with cars that cost substantially more, while providing everyday usability that most exotics simply can’t match.
