Rolls Royce customers want to escape into an environment that is not about getting from point A to point B quickly, but rather in the most exclusive, serene and relaxing manner. And the Phantom definitely delivers.

If I were in the market for a half-million-dollar car, I’d have the Phantom Coupe. The Phantom Coupe, for lack of a better term, is majestic. Gloriously so.

The Phantom stands alone at the pinnacle of very large prestige automobiles, the ultimate symbolic conveyance for “the one percent.” It is powerful, quiet, and supremely comfortable.

There are a few other automobiles that similarly offer an almost shameful abundance of power and luxury. Yet they lack the aura of a Rolls, an iconic brand that commands admiration from rappers to royalty. Naturally, any feature one could possibly want in a car is present in a Phantom.

Big and imposing, there is quite simply, nothing else like it, in terms of looks, quality and luxury. It’s a pleasure to drive and for those who can afford it, the Phantom today, much as it always has, remains in a league of its own among luxury motorcars.

The 2011 Rolls-Royce Phantom is a thoroughly modern union of meticulous German engineering and iconic British panache. The ride is superb, and all the pampering and state-of-the-art high-tech features you’d expect in a prestigious automobile are found within.

Yes, the Phantom is handcrafted, and made in Britain even.
That’s not the reason you opt for a Rolls-Royce though. It’s the synthesis of German engineering and old-world craftsmanship. Everything you touch is actually real and feels good on the skin.

The Phantom is a somewhat-flawed vehicle, but is it best in class? Yes. Nobody comes even close to its appeal. Once Rolls-Royce sweats the little stuff present in cheaper, more advanced alternatives and refines every last detail, the Phantom will be God among men.
