The 2011 Toyota Tacoma (view photos) is a solid performer. It’s an attractive truck and one that feels like the right size for many drivers who want lots of capability without having to park a much larger truck in the garage.

The Toyota Tacoma is available with a reasonable level of dashboard technology, which is surprising for such a simple, brutal truck. You can easily skip most of the off-road options and save a small fortune.

There’s no doubting the Tacoma’s versatility. Unfortunately, it still has a price that can start just over $16,000 and come close to $30,000.
