The 2012 Volvo XC60 is a well-rounded compact luxury SUV that’s one of the top choices for families. With impeccable crash test scores, generous interior space and several unique features, the XC60 is ideally set up to keep your family comfortable and safe.

The XC60 is Volvo’s best-selling XC. That’s not too surprising, considering the small luxury crossover’s good looks inside and out, loads of safety features, and excellent power.

The Volvo XC60 packs a lot of space into a stylish, compact SUV that seats five. It’s maneuverable and pleasant on freeways and city streets. It offers more cargo capability than its competitors and it’s loaded with Volvo’s trademark safety technology.

The XC60 T6 R-Design is roomier, more comfortable, more functional, and more fun-to-drive than the S60 sedan. A BMW X3 is a stronger performer and better handler, but the Volvo has more attractive styling, a more natural feel, and those oh-so-comfy seats.

If your lifestyle demands the utility of a crossover and your common sense requires the safety of a Volvo but your enthusiast bones yearn for performance, the XC60 T6 R-Design is a winning combo.

The 2011 Volvo XC60 T6 is a very practical car with good fuel economy. Tech options are cutting-edge when it comes to safety, but mundane for infotainment.

If you can get past the hurdle of starting the XC60 R-Design, you’ll find one very beautiful, but pricey crossover. Give us a little more power, a set of adjusted dampers and a reworked starting sequence there’s no denying how right the Volvo design team got the XC60 R-Design.

From the driver’s seat, I love almost everything about the XC60. But people don’t buy CUVs because of the way they handle; they buy them because they have people and stuff to haul, and that’s where the XC60 falls down.
