Cadillac has hit the compact sporty four-door bullseye with the 2013 ATS. Now, that doesn’t mean hordes of 3-Series fans are going to trade in their twin-kidneys for a wreath and crest. But, it does mean Cadillac is now a member of a very exclusive club.

It’s hard to look at the 2012 Buick Verano as just another compact sedan, as no other small four-door comes close to being this luxurious for the price. Verano is really in a class by itself.

It’s exciting to see that the performance heritage of this historic brand is getting a proper addressing. The 2012 Buick Regal GS is a ball to drive, paving the way for more great road cars to come.

While we were already big fans of the Buick LaCrosse, the addition of eAssist has made us even more so. It offers help where most of us need it most… in our wallets, by providing additional fuel economy without a lot of additional cost.

The M6 Convertible is one of the fastest drop-tops we’ve ever driven. Both available V8 and I6 engines have been upgraded. So, with more style and space, and more performance added to the BMW deck, this pair of “sixes” looks like another winning hand.

BMW, Lexus, and other high end brands, need to please their elite clientele that also have an energy conscience. So, in that vein, the 2011 BMW ActiveHybrid 7 makes sense. But the best part of this hybrid is, it’s still an uncompromising BMW.

If you can afford to drop this amount of money on a car, choosing the 650i will get you a drop-top that not only stays true to its Ultimate Driving Machine roots, but includes a more luxurious interior. And it’s all wrapped in sheet metal that makes it as pleasing to see as it is to drive.

The new BMW 3-series may have become more of a “family” sport sedan for the maturing driver, but that’s not necessarily a bad thing. With its gains in interior room and fuel economy, it still remains the car that other sport sedan makers have to keep squarely in their sights.

The 2010 Bentley Continental Supersports Convertible is an open-air dynamo that easily meets its goal of setting a convertible benchmark. For the most affluent sun chasers, there may not be a more ideal car on the planet.

The 2013 Bentley Continental GT V8 is almost as fast the 12 and gets better fuel economy, sounds like a win-win. But more than that, Bentley has made the Continental a better car, as truth be told, the W12 was overkill. It may be still be some mighty expensive property, but it’s one we’ll visit anytime!

For many, it’s just too cute to be taken seriously. Well, while the looks have not have changed much, Audi’s latest TT, the RS, packs a smokin’ 360-horsepower and a race track-worthy suspension.

The 2013 S4 is a real treat to drive and live with on a daily basis, and may even eclipse the vaulted BMW 3 Series in a few areas like interior and ride. We’re still not 100% sold on Audi’s long-term reliability, but that wouldn’t keep us from parking it in our garage!
