Cadillac CTS-V
Wagon |
Soon, the CTS-V Sport Wagon’s going to end up at the Nurbürgring and it’s going to put down a time close enough to the sedan to prove a little added weight and a lot of extra sex appeal don’t contribute to anything less than the world’s most fearsome production station wagon.

Cadillac ATS
Sedan |
Throw out all the bullshit prestige arguments and you arrive at the ATS’s real value: the platform. A fun-to-drive, relatively light RWD setup with a manual transmission and a nice interior for a good price.

2012
Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT8
SUV/Truck |
The 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT8 is not better than a Porsche Cayenne Turbo. Everyone with a brain knows it. The Cayenne Turbo also starts at $108,750. The Cayenne S is a more reasonable $65,860, but it’s just not as mean as the $58,290, nicely-loaded Jeep.

Ford Escape
SUV/Truck |
When equipped with the 1.6-liter EcoBoost engine, the new Ford Escape is best in its class. Of course that’s a class dominated by narcoleptic entries, so “best in class” really means “above normal.”
