The new Explorer won’t blaze a new trail the way the original did, but it will make following that trail a whole lot more pleasurable

We found the biggest pluses of this Mini to be the performance of the turbocharged 1.6-liter engine and smoothness of the six-speed manual transmission, along with the secure handling and unique look of the vehicle.

The Sonata Hybrid is borderline excellent as it stands today. Attention competition: It’s only going to get better.

I enjoyed driving the RX 450h. The ride is comfortable, predictable, and refined. Interior wood and leather are first class, as is the build quality. This is a Lexus all the way.

While earlier versions of the X3 left something to be desired, this new model has grown up and been transformed from a not-so-perfect compact SUV into a swan-like, mid-sized SUV, with a refined ride and powertrain.

Cadillac has refined the SRX into a must-drive luxury crossover, wirst-class styling, and a classy and feature-laden interior.

Hyundai seems to have gotten it right with the Accent. The base model is adequate and the premium package adds just enough for a subcompact buyer. It’s easy to appreciate how much of a quantum leap the Accent has taken in its fourth generation.

On the road the LaCrosse eAssist’s steering feel was steady and the ride was excellent, and the design and quality are excellent as ell.

Toyota did a nice job styling the new Camry. On the road it’s exceptionally quiet and the ride is refined. Under the hood, the XLE’s V-6 gave amazing performance while giving us 27.2 miles per gallon.
