Mercedes-Benz M-Class AMG
SUV/Truck |
Mercedes has come a long way with its third-generation ML AMG. It packs an engine worthy of the AMG name, along with the fine interior quality that we expect of Mercedes-Benz. The improvement to the ML’s ride and handling alone is enough to recommend it over the old model.

Porsche 911
Coupe |
The 911 Carrera S delivers supercar performance in a package that you’ll actually want to drive regularly. It’s good looking, comfortable, quiet, and yet it’s also capable of world-class speed and performance. Sounds like the best of both worlds.

Ford Mustang
Coupe |
The Boss 302 is a Mustang like there’s never been. Not only is it pleasantly fast, but it also delivered the sort of handling confidence that the model has never quite had. It elevates the nameplate from mere muscle car to full-fledged sports car.

Chevrolet Camaro ZL1
Coupe |
Chevrolet’s done a fine trick with the ZL1, building a vehicle that can dole out supercar-beating performance on the track while delivering a surprisingly comfortable and easy-to-drive way of getting home each night. Its bargain-basement starting price is a breath of fresh air.

Lexus LS
Sedan |
For 2013, Lexus has made significant strides with its flagship LS. It boasts new tech, a newer look, and the same features that made us fall in love with the last generation. If ultimate comfort is what’s most important, it’s the only choice.

Ford Mustang

Overall, the Ford Mustang remains a solid choice for the driving enthusiast. Power in this car is decent, and with its fresh new looks, upgraded technology suite, and optional suspension upgrades, it remains a relative bargain for the Americana-obsessed involvement shopper.

Mercedes-Benz CLS-Class AMG

This car can haul four people, stomp around a race track at an alarming rate of speed, and still be able to dance around with cars half its size. The Mercedes-Benz CLS63 AMG is our super-sedan-coupe of choice.

What Audi has done with the new A6 is take a car that was always highly competent in a highly competitive class, and made every little thing markedly better with added technology, better looks, and excellent driving dynamics.

2013
Chevrolet Malibu
Sedan |
The Chevrolet Malibu, regardless of its turbocharged engine, is not a sports sedan. What it is, though, is a very, very good family sedan. If sportiness isn’t as much of a concern for you, we think you’ll really like the relaxed pace of this turbocharged Malibu.

2013
Hyundai Santa Fe
SUV/Truck |
It’s arguably one of the best vehicles for a small family on sale today. With decent power, efficiency, space, equipment, and a price that won’t break the bank, the Santa Fe Sport is certainly the kind of product that reminds you of just how far Hyundai has come.

Hyundai Genesis

Hyundai has taken its already potent Genesis Coupe and turned it into one of the most compelling and affordable performance cars on sale today. It can go toe-to-toe with very well established nameplates, and in most cases outperform them.

Ford’s built a pretty comprehensive vehicle with the Explorer Sport, gifting it with a much-welcomed boost in power and torque. It’s for the family that wants to get where it’s going quickly, in comfort and style, and for a reasonable price.
