For 2011, Mercedes has redesigned the exterior to make it more rugged looking. Whereas the old R-Class was “droopy,” the new model can definitely be called “swoopy.” The result is a crossover SUV that we feel should finally make a dent in sales numbers for the company.

The people behind the all-new 2011 XJ say it is the best Jaguar they have ever built. We tend to agree. Further, we believe it also poses a serious challenge to the Audi A8, BMW 7-series, Lexus LS460, and Mercedes S-class.
